Recently went in and purchased several things. The hamburger was an 80/20 mix and didn't have the gristle that you find in other places. This burger was really well mixed and had the best flavor ever. Premium burger. Then I bought a chuck roast that was beautifully marbled. I used it to make a pot of beef barley soup, best soup I've ever made, the beef flavor was amazing. As the daughter of a butcher/meat cutter, I was brought up on good cuts of meat and know a little about that world. You can tell the they know their stuff and the place is immaculate. We make all of our own locally raised beef, pork & chicken. We also offer brats, beef sticks, summer sausage, breakfast sausage, smoked brisket and roast beef.

Do you provide meat processing services?

Yes, we offer comprehensive processing services for cow, deer, lamb, and pig, along with general meat processing.

Can I bring in my own deer for processing?

Absolutely! We welcome you to bring your deer to our Meat Locker for expert processing.

Where are you located, and which areas do you serve?

We are located in Centerville, IA, and proudly serve Appanoose County and reach customers all across Southern Iowa and Northern Missouri.

What makes your meats high-quality?

Our commitment to sourcing local, fresh products and prioritizing the best options ensures you receive the highest quality meats. We promote high quality meat and locally, as we do all processing here on site, cool the meat properly and offer it to our customers fresh. Our products do not have to travel and are not several days old once it is processed. This is where our high-quality comes from that our customers love!

Can I purchase meats for special occasions or holidays?

Certainly! Our high-quality meats are perfect for everyday enjoyment and special occasions, ensuring a delicious experience every time. We appreciate our customers placing orders early to help us plan for the special occasion.

Do you take orders?

Yes we do, but we also appreciate at least a week or 2 advance notice to help us prepare.

Do you give bulk discounts?

No, we do not. We are purchasing the beef and hog directly from the farmer. We do not buy meat in bulk from a packer or company, therefore we are not able to give a bulk discount.
